Ilya Zarezenko (; born 14 July 1985) is a Russian chess player who holds the title of (1997). Biography Ilya Zarezenko is student of Novosibirsk chess school. He played for Russia in European Youth Chess Championships and World Youth Chess Championships in the different age groups and best result reached in 1997 in Tallinn, when he won European Youth Chess Championship in the U12 age group. About this success he became FIDE Master (FM) title. In 2002, in Novosibirsk Ilya Zarezenko ranked 2nd in International Chess Tournament Stolitsa Sibiri. Since 2003 he rarely participates in chess tournaments. In 2007, Ilya Zarezenko graduated from Novosibirsk State Technical University Applied Mathematics and Computer Science faculty. He work in information technology business.
