Il-2 Sturmovik: 1946 (also called Il-2: 1946) is a flight simulation game made by Ubisoft, and is a continuation of the Il-2 Sturmovik series. Il-2: 1946 is based during World War Two. There are many patches for this game, where the version is updated and new planes, missions, or features are added. Some of these are 4.07 (initial release), 4.08, 4.08m, 4.09, 4.09m, and 4.10. There are also packs that add to the game in a greater way. Ex: the Ultr@packs, 1.0, 1.7, 2.0, 2.1 are the most common ones. Il-2: 1946 has multi-player capabilities, mainly through Hyperlobby, a third-party client. The average player base on Hyperlobby is around 1,400. I;-2: 1946 was released in 2007.
