Ijeoma Balogun (nee Ndekwu) is a Public Relation professional, the Founder/CEO of Redrick Public Relations Limited and named in the Forbes Africa under 30 list of 2019 Career Ijeoma Balogun was born in 1990. In 2008 when she was 18 years, she began a career as a Style Editor of “BellaNaija” an online Nigerian magazine. While she was working for BellaNaija, she started an undergraduate programme. She obtained a certificate in Global & Integrated Marketing Communications from the American University of Paris, France. She also holds an Advanced Certificate in CSR & Sustainability from the London School of Public Relations. As a lifestyle journalist, she was additionally writing for other magazines and newspapers including Genevieve Magazine, ThisDay Style, Complete Fashion Magazine and Studio 53 Extra. She represented and led BellaNaija to win the ‘Most Outstanding Contribution to Fashion Communication’ at the Africa fashion Awards 2010. She also received an award in the same competition as ‘Fashion Writer of The Year’, 2010. In 2012, Ijeoma Balogun founded and is the CEO of Redrick Public Relations Limited, a public relation company. She has been named in Small and Medium Enterprise ‘’SME 100’’ ( 100 Most Innovative Female- Owned Businesses in Nigeria) in 2017. She was also included in the Lioness of Africa Listing of “41 Nigerian Women Entrepreneurs Putting the Country on a Global Business Map” in 2016. She was named in Forbes Africa Under 30 list in 2019.
