Hyderabad Globe Football Club is a football club based in Hyderabad, the capital city of the state of Andhra Pradesh. They are one of the top clubs in Hyderabad and feature in the SAAP 'Budweiser" Premier League in Hyderabad. The club has a long history going back more than forty years. Club History Hyderabad Globe FC was founded in the year 1968 by the late Mr. Syed Saleemuddin Murshad. Murshad was a famous football personality in Hyderabad and played for many famous local clubs, such as Hyderabad City Police and Hyderabad Rovers Club. The club headquarters is situated at world famous Devdi Khurshid Jah Palace near the Historic Charminar and Chow Mohalla Palace which is also well known as Khilwat Palace. Founder The late Mr. Syed Saleemuddin Murshad himself was well known football player of Hyderabad and was a famous bussinessman who played for different clubs of Hyderabad like Hyderabad Rovers Club, Hyderabad Heroes Club, Arsenal Club and the famous Hyderabad City Police . Ha had participated in many major All India tournaments like Durand cup,DCM cup,Rovers cup and many other tournaments in all over Inadia and also participated in many International Tournaments in Nepal,Bhutan,Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. In the year 1968 he established the football club called " HYDERABAD GLOBE FOOTBALL CLUB" . In these 40 years of club history, hundreds of players who played for this club has got jobs in various departments like RBI, SBI, SBH, AGORC,DMRL,CITY POLICE, APP, BDL, SCR and many others are playing for various teams representing hyderabad and also various professional teams of India. In the year 1980, He was appointed as a joint secretary of APFA, Andhra Pradesh Football Association . He also supported many players and their families finanacially. He died on 16th of June 2004.
