Hot Pans Steelband

Hot Pans Steelband consists of 18 young musicians in the age of 15 to 35, and the only instruments in the orchestra is steeldrums, drums and percussion. The repertoire is everything from traditional calypso and soca to known songs by Santana, Gloria Estefan, and more. The steelband was founded in 1990 with start in Hillerød Musical school, and has played uncountable jobs at lots of town fesitavals, birthdays, parties, carnivals etc. The orchestra has also toured in France, Germany, Poland, Italy and competed in tons of competitions. Hot Pans Steelband won the danish championship in steeldrums in 2006 and 2007, and is now the best steelband in Denmark. Hot Pans Steelband is a colourful element to any festivity whatever it's a summerparty, a christmasparty, wedding or themeparty. Look and hear more at our website. But watch out.
