Horton Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in the Lower East Side of New York City, USA. Founded in 2010 by Clayton Sean Horton, who previously founded SUNDAY, Horton Gallery was originally located on the parlor floor of a federal style house on West 22nd Street. In 2012 the gallery relocated to 55-59 Chrystie St, occupying a 2200 sq ft space that previously housed the CANADA Gallery for 10 years. The gallery has become an integral part of the art scene found in the Lower East Side, offering first solo shows to unknown artists who some might deem quirky. Owner and founder Clayton Sean Horton has endeavored to build a small roster of artists, with whom he can grow and provide support for.
