Krowswork gallery

Krowswork is a contemporary art gallery located in the Uptown Oakland area of Oakland, California. It focuses primarily on video and photography with some installation and project work. Founded in 2009 by curator Jasmine Moorhead, Krowswork has distinguished itself by presenting both new work by emerging artists as well as retrospectives of established artists. Its program of screenings, art talks, performances, and other events explores the historical roots of Bay Area work as well as presenting new contemporary work. Krowswork has been an active participant in Oakland's monthly Art Murmur art walk event. Krowswork has consistently been cited as one of the most noteworthy galleries in the East Bay.
