Hollywood Cure For Pain

Hollywood Cure for Pain is a movement of people in the entertainment industry to help people that suffer from chronic pain disorders. On its board sit a combination of active and honorary celebrity members and pain patients. Their mission statement is to help raise awareness and find a cure for chronic pain disorders. The board of directors includes: 2007 award winning actor George Katt, award winning actress Elle Travis, actress Jennifer Sciole, , and Cher Rue.

It's first scheduled debut red carpet event was November 7th, 2007 in Hollywood, California. Performaces included a lineup of famous musicians: Grammy winner Val Watson of Club Nouveau, celebrity rap artist Marcus Foy from the MTV hit Tila Tequila reality show(A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila), #1 2006 billboard chart topper Pepper Mashay, the pop group Body, Soul & Mind, and Hollywood Cure for Pain all star band (featuring Dee Snider's cousin David Snider, Slavin David and Bob Malone). Hosted by James Bartholet of LA Nightlife. A fashion show featuring Bobby Trendy and several Janice Dickinson models was featuring Laguna Beach Jeans. Fashion Director was celebrity designer Jenae Altschwager.

Marcus Foy and Bobby Trendy are some of the celebrity spokes persons supporting the movement. Some of Hollywood Cure for Pain's supporters include Gigi Mackenzie, Elle Travis, Art LaFleur, Caroline Macey, Phoebie Price, 15 time prowrestling champaign and hollywood actor Al Burke aka Mr. Outrageous, Chuck Wright bass player for Quiet Riot, 2006 #1 billboard chart topper Pepper Mashay, 2007 award winning actor George Katt, award winning actress Elle Travis, Andrew Aguilar, Jennifer Sciole, Erika Ringor, Lorielle New, Jeff Bozz owner of Sunset Tan (#1 rated E! television show, UK Chart Topper Vincent Covello(vocals for BT) and numerous others.

What about Fawn? She was the only reason I bought a ticket. As far as I'm concerned, he performance was one of the highlights of the evening.

I suffer from Fibro and chronic pain I'm glad that they are helping raise awareness for people that suffer in pain. :) Pain free hugs.
