Hitter Quitter Records is an independent record label and production company. The company was started by rapper and producer Marvel Norwood, and Calvin Gorham (aka C), an ex football player and R&B guru. Southeast Slim was the first artist signed to Hitter Quitter Records, then soon after a rap group named EMP (Empire of Money and Power). Hitter Quitter Record's production team, dubbed the Hitter Quitter Boyz, produced three breakout records for, Washington, DC's hip hop artist, . Dig Dug, One Thing About a Player feat Southeast Slim and Breakdown (which appears on the soundtrack to the football video game Madden 2009).
