HILL BRIGGS

Born in South Africa. He started playing music when he was 6 years old. he moved to England when he was 9 years old and was taught classical theory and modern music to the age of 16.

Briggs started playing semi professionally at 14, playing with some of London's top Jazz musicians and started playing professional at 16 as a session musician.

Instruments played:

Keyboard, piano, Hammond organ, Drums, percussion, bass, electric guitar, Spanish guitar, Harmonica and sax.

Songwriter:

He is a songwriter and has a catalogue of songs that have been released commercially including film and Tv music IE. “Shebaz Greatest Treasures” Zanzibar productions, Various works, Sony BMG.

Producer:

As well as working as a session musician/MD he is a producer and a skilled sound engineer.

Nanette Welman (co wrote, produced and played on album), Sam Brown (playing the single ”STOP” and touring). Recorded, co wrote and produced Jazz album with Chris Mack. Recorded produced, and toured with Rick Lee Ten years After, Franky Miller, Co musical director, playing keyboards for TV series Saturday Night Live. Played with Courtney Pine, Sunny Curtis, Bobby Womack, John Parr, Sinetta, Chris Farlow, John Coghlan Diesel Band (ex status Quo), Rod Argent, Paul Jones, Berni Marsden from White Snake, Errol Brown.
