hi5.ro is a social networking website, which today,
is one of the 5 most-visited social networks on the Romanian web.
The company was founded in 2005 by Catalin Stancu who is also the current CEO. In 2006 hi5.ro merged by acquisition with lovers.ro , another romanian social networking website. As of December 2007, hi5.ro had over 100,000 members. Hi5.ro has about 10,000 unique visits per day.
Features
In hi5.ro, users create a profile, showing information such as interests, age and hometown and upload user pictures where other users can post comments. Users can also send messages and chat. The number of saved mesages in inbox is unlimited.
