Herefordshire Youth Orchestra (HYO) is an orchestra for those up to and including the age of 18 in the Herefordshire area. It is jointly conducted by Sir Richard Mynors and Hazel Davies, both of whom share an interest in educating young people in the area of music. Sir Richard inherited his title from the Mynors baronets.
The orchestra has links with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, with players from the senior orchestra coming to play in sectional rehearsals with the members of HYO. As of April 2014, the orchestra has performed at a number of venues in and around Herefordshire, with the most recent performance being held at a church in Weobley.
