Helen Earth Band is an American indie rock band from San Diego, California. Starting out as a writing experiment between brothers Marc & Adam Allen in 2005, the project took 4 years to materialize. The band is currently working through material for their first full-length album, and are set to begin recording in May. Band history Formation After Counterfit disbanded in November, 2004, Adam & Marc Allen continued writing material together for a new project. In 2005, Marc joined Finch, drumming for them until the group's indefinite hiatus in 2006. The Allen brothers then began to seek other musicians to complete the band, eventually rounding out the line up in 2008.
