Health Goes Female

Health Goes Female is an American blog that provides health information for women. It was founded in 2012 by three female physicians, Dr. Doerthe Brueggmann, Dr. Jenny Jaque, and Dr. Claire Templeman.
Two of their publications, 1-2-3 Puberty For Girls and 1-2-3 Puberty for Boys, are used as textbooks in the Pasadena Unified School District in California. Their medical advice has also been featured in such media outlets as Shape Magazine, Parents, Fox News, and The Huffington Post.

Founders
Dr. Claire L. Templeman
Dr. Claire L. Templeman serves as the Division Director for minimally invasive surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynceology at USC, Chief of the Gynecology Service at Keck Hospital of USC, and Chief of Gynecology at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
Dr. Templeman was born in London England and raised in Sydney, Australia. In 1989, she received her MD from the University of New South Wales. In 2000, she trained in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. And in 2002, she trained in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Reproductive Specialty Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Some of Dr. Templeman's awards include "Top Doctor by Pasadena Magazine" (2010 and 2011), "Marquis Who's Who in Healthcare" (2011), "Best Doctors in America" (2006-2011), "Southern California Super Doctors (2010 and 2011), and "Top Women Southern California Super Doctors" (2011).
Dr. Jenny M. Jaque, MD
Dr. Jenny M. Jaque is an OB/GYN who serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology and Assistant Residency Program Director, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. 
Dr. Jaque was born in Santiago, Chile. At age 7, she relocated to Los Angeles. In 2004, she received her MD from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. In 2005 she trained at Wright State University for General Surgery. And in 2009, she continued her training at Keck School of Medicine of USC for Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Doerthe Brueggmann, MD
Dr. Brueggmann serves is an OB/GYN who serves as Assistant Professor of Research and Research Coordinator for the Program of Endometriosis Research, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Keck School of Medicine, USC.
Dr. Brueggmann was born in Frankfurt, Germany. In 2001, she received her MD from Justus Liebig University, School of Medicine, Giessen, Germany. She trained and served as an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Justus University, School of Medicine, Giessen, Germany.
