Hbclive.print is a music periodical covering the Houston, TX music scene. With the tag line "a local music periodical, about local music period" the writers have enjoyed relative freedom to cover a section of Houston that has been largely overlooked by even the independent media.

Published by members of The Houston Band Coalition, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization the magazine is the brainchild of former journalism student, and VP of the Houston Band Coalition Board of Directors, Kevin McAuley.

While the original concept was for the organization to release a monthly newsletter the project quickly spiraled into a 40 page magazine. Due to time constraints the E-I-C (McAuley) decided to cut back the number of issues to 4 a year (released as quarterly periodicals), with a weekly 2 page bulletin released as well.

The publication recently celebrated the release of the first issue of the second volume, on January 25th at the Howling Coyote in Northwest Houston.

The issue included articles with Rockstar Photographer Tre' Ridings of Photgraphic Tendencies, Gina Rotolo, Jason Price, Producer ,Jim Finley , and Ronnie Casso of Madgrafix Design Co..
