Hayden Rogers

Hayden Rogers is a United States Congressional staff member, political candidate, and businessman.
Rogers graduated from High School and from Princeton University. He then "started a construction company and later expanded his entrepreneurial ventures to real estate management, landscaping, and a retail garden center." He was campaign manager for Heath Shuler in 2005-2006 when the latter ran for the United States House of Representatives and went with Shuler to Capitol Hill to serve as his chief of staff. After Shuler announced his retirement from Congress in 2012, Rogers ran for his seat. He won the Democratic primary on May 8, 2012, with more than 55 percent of the vote.
Rogers is a member of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.
