Roz Peterson is a Minnesota Republican politician, a member of the Lakeville School Board, and a candidate for the Minnesota House of Representatives from District 56B. Peterson graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1987 with a degree in Business Management and Psychology. She worked as vice president of a local real estate company, as well as the owner of multiple local drug stores. In 2007, Peterson was elected to the Lakeville School Board, serving as vice chair from 2009-10. In March 2012, Peterson announced that she would seek the Republican Party's endorsement for the open Minnesota House of Representatives seat in District 56B. If nominated, Peterson will likely face former Rep. Will Morgan in the general election. Peterson is married, and has two children.
