Hawwa Fareeshaan (; born 13 November 1990) is a Maldivian politician, a current member of the secretariat of kolhumadulu Burunee Council since 17 May 2021. Fareeshaan (known as "Fary") has completed her Secondary education at thaa burunee school. While Studying in primary education In 2004, she has joined International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement as a voluntary worker to help tsunami victims. After the establishment of Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) in 2009, she worked in close cooperation with the MRC. Early life Fareeshaan was born in , Maldives to a middle-class family. She has two elder sisters and four elder brothers in her family. She attended school between 1998 and 2009 and completed GCE O Levels. Political life After completing her secondary Education, she became a member of the Largest Political Party Maldivian Democratic Party In the Maldives. In 2020 she won the ticket for Local Council Election after competing in Maldivian Democratic Party primary. She was elected as a Local Council member with the highest number of votes.
