Hattons of London is a privately-owned specialist in rare and exclusive coins. Alongside a range of heritage coins, the company distributes new-strike sovereigns for commemorative purposes - examples include the Queen’s Sapphire Jubilee or the 75th anniversary of D-Day. The company is registered in Hatton Garden, London and has administrative headquarters in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England.
Hattons of London primarily focuses on a UK audience. In May 2019, it launched sales in the USA and the company is considering expansion in Canada and Australia.
Partnerships
Hattons of London has a partnership with SSAFA, the armed forces charity. It has raised £80,000 to date and has committed to a target of £200,000 by the end of 2020.
Products
Hattons of London commissions and sells rare commemorative and heritage coins. Examples include the world first sovereign with a double portrait of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, to celebrate the monarch’s platinum wedding anniversary.  
In 2018, the company released a Defence of The Skies range of seven 22-carat gold sovereigns to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the RAF.
In its profile of Hattons of London, The Sunday Times mentions its launch of coins to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day landings. The coins were given sculpted edges to match the shape of the beaches in Normandy.
