HARE Motorsport is a motor-sport group established in November 1997. HARE Motorsport developed a Toyota Starlet to compete ultimately in the Australian Production Car Championship. The main goal was to compete at Bathurst, Mount Panorama, during the weekend of the V8 Supercar Bathurst 1000 in the Production Car 3hr Race conducted on the Saturday. Ready for the team's debut at Bathurst 1000 in 2000, a death in the family a few weeks before the event prompted the team to withdrew from the event. In 2001, PROCAR lost championship running rights in line with the V8 Supercar's and hence the Production Car 3hr Race has not been run since 2000. Toyota Starlet EP91 |
