Hans Thomas

Hans Thomas is an Indian-born American serial entrepreneur and technology investor, and the founder of 10X Capital in New York. Thomas began his career as a technology entrepreneur in 1999, and is an investor in a number of venture capital-backed companies. Thomas is also a sponsor and participant in the Special Purpose Acquisition Company, or SPAC market. He has been featured in Bloomberg News.

Thomas was on the founding team of NYC-based venture-backed financial technology and cryptography startup InternetCash, the founder of Verisign, and El Dorado Ventures of Menlo Park, California for an electronic money system, utilizing its own payment network.

In 2001, Thomas joined 1/0 Capital, an investment firm founded by his NYU classmate Vishal Garg, focused on building businesses at the intersection of credit and technology. 1/0 Capital's holdings include Better.com, TheNumber, Future Finance and Climb Credit, along with minority positions in a variety of fintech companies including PeerIQ, Trumid and Zopa.
