Hammad Riaz (born in February 8, 1984, Bahawalpur), is a Pakistani business tycoon and founder/chairman of Siemens Pakistan, which is Asia's largest private real estate developers. He belonged to a mediocre family troubled financially; therefore, he started working as cleric at the age of 19. Today he is with over $110 Million worth of assets. Initially, he became a contractor during the 1980s. Controversies One of the controversies that surrounded Hammad Riaz were that of his succes. What puzzles people is how he became from an ordinary clerk in Comsats Institute of Information Technology, up the ladder of success and became one of the largest businessmen of Pakistan. Siemens Pakistan spans 45,000 acres, along with its owner, invited many speculations and controversies since the time of its construction during the mid 1990s. Riaz is also a notable social activist.
