Guillermo Íñiguez

Guillermo Íñiguez Martínez (Madrid, Spain, 1999) is a Spanish legal scholar, jurist and analyst. He is a researcher at the University of Oxford (Faculty of Law).
Life and career
Guillermo Íñiguez was born in Madrid in 1999. He studied the in Law at the University of Cambridge (Peterhouse) and graduated with a first-class law degree (2017-2020). Later he studied a master of laws (LLM) in EU law at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) (2020-2021), with a full scholarship by the Fundación Ramón Areces of Spain. He has been a legal trainee at the EU General Court.
Currently he is a researcher and PhD student at the University of Oxford (Somerville College), where he is doing his PhD in EU law.
He is also an analyst and contributor to some of Spain’s leading newspapers, such as El País, El Correo or El Español.
In the year 2021, he was appointed General Secretary of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party () in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
