Vinayak Dalmia (born 17 February 1984) is an Indian Businessman and Columnist who currently serves as Media Spokesperson of the Indian National Congress Early Life & Education Vinayak was born in Delhi to one of India's most prominent families Dalmia. Vinayak's grandfather was Late Shri Ramkrishna Dalmia - Founder of the Dalmia Group and one of the illustrious architects of India's industrial revolution. Vinayak's grandmother Late Shrimati Dinesh Nandini Dalmia was a renowned Hindi author and poet. For her contribution to Hindi Literature she was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 2006 - India's 3rd highest civilian honor. Education Vinayak studied Economics at University of Cambridge and UC Berkeley. He also studied LLB Law from the University of London. In 2018, the University of Oxford awarded him a Visiting Research Fellowship Political career Vinayak currently serves as Media Spokesperson for the Indian National Congress.
