Growing Around: Party Panic is a slice of life book written by John "Enter" Rozanski, and illustrated by Meghan Molony. The book is based on the Growing Around animated series Rozanski has been planning since July 15, 2014, which was inspired by Shorty McShorts' Shorts' Flip-Flopped, which Mr. Enter believes to have misused its premise and squandered its potential. Codename: Kids Next Door was another one of Rozanski's inspirations while making the book. Premise 8-year-old Sally Dumb lives in a world where the roles of kids and adults have been reversed. Kids are in charge, and they run the world. Sally spends the day mostly shopping and doing other chores for her family, all while hanging out with friends April and Molly. While it's fun for her, it isn't easy, especially when she gets a Party Duty letter and has to entertain the town. |
