Greg Ammon

Biography
Early life
Greg Ammon (Born March 15, 1990) is the son of the infamous American financier and investment mogul tycoon Ted Ammon
Ted Ammon and his wife, Generosa Rand , adopted Greg, along with his twin sister Alexa, from a small, impoverished town in the Ukraine. Raised in New York City, the Ammon's enjoyed a privileged childhood, living in houses around the world, and eventually settling in Surrey, England for a time. Soon after, the Ammons would move back to New York City, where Greg and Alexa would be at the center of long and difficult divorce proceedings between Generosa and Ted. The divorce attracted much media attention in 2000 including New York Magazine front page article "The War for Ted Ammon’s Children”
Days away from finalizing the divorce, Ted was found bludgeoned to death in the Ammon’s East Hampton home. Generosa and then boyfriend, Daniel Pelosi, were the prime persons of interest in the murder. Pelosi would be convicted of the murder in 2004. In 2003, Generosa would succumb to a bout with breast cancer, leaving Greg and Alexa with the majority of their father’s estate, but orphaned once again and under the care of their nanny, Kay Mayne, until they were of legal age. Mayne would then send Greg away to boarding school in New Hampshire, separating him from the only real family he had left, his sister Alexa, and forcing the Ammon twins to cope with this unfathomable situation, alone. At this time, Greg and Alexa had become very close with their late mother’s husband, Danny Pelosi, unknowing of his involvement in their father’s murder. They, once again, found themselves at the center of another custody battle, this time involving their nanny, Mayne, their father’s murderer, Pelosi, and Ted’s sister, Sandi. Sandi was eventually awarded custody, and the Ammon’s moved to Huntsville, Alabama, where they would reside through high school. Today,
Greg resides in Los Angeles where he has began production on a documentary detailing his and his twin sister's journey back to the Ukraine to discover their roots, and their establishment of The Ammon Foundation, a charity that hopes to raise awareness for adoption around the world.
Greg was played by Munro Chambers in the 2005 made for TV movie Murder in the Hamptons.
