Graham Dyson

Graham Dyson (born in Huddersfield) is a retired police officer at West Yorkshire Police.
Career
Graham Dyson joined the police as a special constable in June 1990. He became a full-time officer in 1995 and worked in Halifax and Bradford, where he served for 13 years, rising to the rank of inspector. He was then transferred to Leeds, before working on the Huddersfield Neighbourhood Policing Team in 2018. While working on the Huddersfield Neighbourhood Policing Team he encouraged residents to keep coming forwards and working with the police, to help make Huddersfield a safer place to work and live, as he knew that West Yorkshire Police could not win the fight against crime and anti social behaviour on its own.
During the Islamophobia Awareness Month in November 2022, he discussed the community's experience of hate crime, which can never be tolerated, and he promised that "West Yorkshire Police would continue to robustly investigate all reports of hate incidents and bring offenders to justice."
