Gradology

Gradology (pronounced ‘grade’-’ology’) is an educational rewards-based platform based in San Francisco, CA. Gradology's platform allows students to submit quizzes, tests, exams, and other academic events to the community for sponsorship.
History
Gradology was originally conceived in 2015 when chairman Leo Rocco (formerly GoPago CEO) came up with the idea of a student rewards focused platform during a brainstorming session with future co-founders Gregg Mojica and Eric Amodeo. He believed students should be rewarded for their achievements there was a need to create a platform to facilitate this need. Gregg Mojica who subsequently became CTO and Eric Amodeo became the third co founder.
Gradology launched its web platform in 2016, running small pilot tests in various schools. Gradology has plans to expand to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, among other cities across the U.S.
Partnership
In 2015, Gradology partnered with Gyft, a mobile payments company acquired by First Data, as a means of promoting, distributing, and selling its rewards.
Financials
Chairman Leo Rocco made an investment of an undisclosed amount in mid 2015.
