Goose Kallunki

Goose Kallunki (born October 30, 1989 in Fayetteville, North Carolina) is an American baseball player. He currently plays for the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings in the United League Baseball.
He was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 27th round of the 2012 MLB Draft out of Utah Valley State University. He made his professional debut for the Eugene Emeralds. In college, he earned a school record 47 wins including a 32 game winning streak.
Goose was named by his parents after Goose Gossage when his family was visiting Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and saw Gossage playing, "thinking the name was 'cool'".
