Kenneth "Kiki" Willis (born October 14, 1986 in Youngstown, Ohio) is an American soccer player who played midfielder for D.C. United in Major League Soccer.
Career Professional Willis was acquired by D.C. United via Major League Soccer waivers and signed to developmental contract on March 13, 2007. In May 2007, Willis was granted a leave of absence to return home for family matters. He was placed on an MLS suspension list when he did not report back to the team.
College Willis spent two seasons at Elon University. In his sophomore year, he helped the Phoenix to a 10-8-2 overall record and their first-ever NCAA Division I national ranking. the All-Southern Conference First Team and the NSCAA/adidas All-South Second Team for the second consecutive year. He finished 2006 with a team-leading eight goals and four assists.
As a freshman, he started every game, recorded five game-winners on ten goals and three assists, tied for third in the league in points,
High School As a forward, Willis lead Cardinal Mooney High School to the Division II Ohio State title, was twice the Division II Player of the Year, and set the Ohio state record with 176 career goals. He also had 55 assists, and was a four-time First Team All-Ohio selection. Three times he was an NCSAA adidas All-American, and was also named a Parade All-American, EA Sports All-American, NCSAA/Adidas State Player of the Year and Mr. Soccer Ohio in 2004. All four years in high school he was the All-Steel Valley Player of the Year, All-Mahoning County, and District Player of the year. He was a member of the Cleveland Internationals club team,
Willis got his start in a Soccer In The Streets program in Youngstown when he was six years old, and has said, "If it wasn't for Soccer In The Streets, I wouldn't have had a clue soccer ever existed."
