Golfbreaks.com and Teeofftimes.co.uk are trading names of Golfbreaks Ltd. It specialises in golf package holidays in the UK, Europe and Worldwide, offering breaks in the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, and the USA amongst others.
It is an independent and privately owned UK tour operator.
Chief Executive Andrew Stanley started the company in 1998; he began by organising Ryder Cup style challenge golf breaks for groups. As part of the Internet boom the Golfbreaks.com web site was launched in 1999. The company is based in Windsor, Berkshire, employing over 100 people, and sending over 134,000 golfers on breaks in 2009 alone.
2007 saw the launch of a new venture for Golf Breaks Ltd, Teeofftimes.co.uk which is an online tee time booking service for golf courses within the UK. The service has quickly grown, and now offers tee times at over 500 golf courses in the UK, and is set to book tee times for over 100,000 golfers in 2010. In 2010 the company launched BookaSpa.com, specialising in spa breaks and spa days across the UK.
Golfbreaks.com is Europe's largest golf travel company, and is highly respected within the golfing industry. Golfbreaks.com has recently become the official supplier to the , as well as the official travel partner of the PGA’s of Europe. It has also developed key relationships with companies such as HSBC Premier Golf Network, TaylorMade-adidas Golf and the Daily Telegraph, as well as with Tourist and professional bodies such as Visit Scotland, Visit Wales, the Murcia Tourist Board and IAGTO.
