Gold edition

A Gold Edition is a game in which a base product is bundled together with an Expansion Pack. RTS, and RPGs are normally the types of games to be repackaged as Gold editions. An example of this, in a more simplistic terms is the classic game Age of Empires and its expansion pack Rise of Rome. Both games are related. Age of Empires, is the base game, and Rise of Rome is the expansion. The Gold edition of the two, Age of Empires Gold just happens to fit on one disc. This is not common, however. |
