The Glendon Association is a non-profit organization that conducts and publishes mental health research, and provides education and outreach training on topics related to suicide and violence prevention. Mission statement The mission of the Glendon Association is to "save lives and enhance mental health by addressing the social problems of suicide, child abuse, violence, and troubled interpersonal relationships." Personnel At a national and international level, the foundation is represented by Lisa Firestone, who does conference presentations on topics that include couple relations, parenting, and suicide and violence prevention. Robert Firestone has long been the main theoretician for the foundation, devising unique approaches to therapy, such as Voice Therapy, and the Firestone Assessment of Violent Thoughts. See Also
