General Information Gimmal Group was founded by Mike Alsup in 2002 and claims to be a nationally recognized consulting, technology services and solutions company serving customers in industry and government . Their services encompass the planning, implementation and integration of Enterprise Content Management and Records Management, Geographic Information Systems, and Web Design & User Experience. Their main partners are Microsoft (Sharepoint), EMC (Documentum), Open Text(Livelink) and IBM (FileNet). The company is fast growing and is based in Houston. The company also has an office in New Yok and staff throughout the country. Gimmal Group sponsors the Rice University Business Plan Competition and for past two years, has taken in interns on a three months basis from Innovation Norway as part of the program for Gründerskolen Norway, held at Rice University.
