Gilt and Grime theatre is a fringe theatre company based at the Cobden Club in West London. Established by directors Tom Platten and Vicky Graham in January 2008, Gilt & Grime focuses on accessible theatre and produces both new writing and established plays. Previous productions have included Hi Ho by Dominic Mitchell, Vinegar Tom by Caryl Churchill, and Two by Jim Cartwright. The company produces rehearsed readings of new writing under the umbrella their Leviathan Project, creating more politically charged work set against, in conversation with or in response to statements and ideas from Thomas Hobbes' work of the same name.
