Gilbert Classical Academy (or GCA) is a College Prepatory Academy in Gilbert, Arizona. It is a part of the Gilbert Unified School District. The GCA is a fully equipped one to one computing school. Each student recieves a laptop for school and home use. The rigorous six-year curriculum includes core courses in math, science, english, social studies, modern languages, Latin, physical education, music, and the arts. Involvement in community service projects, extra-curricular activities, and 1A athletics are offered to provide academy students with a well-rounded experience. Mission Statement * The Classical Academy provides students with a rigorous, integrated curriculum in a small_school setting, utilizing the Socratic method of instruction to encourage students to think critically and prepare for study at the university level. Uniforms *The Male uniform consists of khaki pants or shorts with either a purple, maize, or white shirt. Females may wear khaki pants, shorts, or a skirt along with the same shirt choices as males. Both males and females must wear a belt with pants and shorts and must have their shirt tucked in. See Also
