GetPaid is a free software e-commerce solution for the Python-based Plone content management system. GetPaid is an add-on framework to Plone which allows processing credit cards for online payments. It provides solutions for the most common e-commerce use cases out of the box. It was initially released in late 2006. Features * Collect donations * Sell items in a simple store (e.g. shippable items) * Integration of shipment information e.g. from UPS * Make content "pay to publish" (i.e. job postings, ads, applications) * Shopping Cart * Integration with different Payment Processors (e.g. Authorize.net, Paymentech, Google Checkout, PayPal, etc.) * Warehouse, Shipping (UPS) and Fulfillment * Extendable workflow, roles and permissions system * Discount (% off, $ off or buy X get Y free) * Live search and RSS feeds from search results Development GetPaid is a community based free software project. It is developed by people/companies from all around the world using the following technologies in order to carry out work in a collaborative fashion as well as to cummunicate: * mailing lists; those are also carried on Gmane * an IRC channel (#getpaid) at irc.freenode.net * a ticketing system * a software configuration management system
