Geotest - Marvin Test Systems, Inc. is a producer of PXI and PC-Based test equipment, software and automated test solutions for the electronics industry. Geotest’s products and services include PXI chassis, controllers and instruments, Test Executive and development software (ATEasy), test systems and integration services. Geotest is a subsidiary of the Marvin Group. History Geotest was founded in 1988 as a subsidiary of the Geotek Industries. In the first three years, Geotest provided integration services for a variety of test equipment programs. In 1991, Geotest released its first product, ATEasy software and in 1992, released its first hardware products: PC based test instruments. In 1994, Geotest introduced the GTXI computer system which made the use of COTS PC-based products in industrial test systems. Hundreds of PC-based and GTXI-based products were released between 1994 and 1999 along with several versions of ATEasy software. In 1997, Geotest was acquired by Marvin Engineering and became part of the Marvin Group. The name of the company was changed to Marvin Test Systems, Inc. DBA Geotest. In 1999, Geotest introduced its first PXI products and pioneered the use of 6U PXI products and in 2000, the first 32-bit ATEasy version. In 2003, Geotest released its first PXI combo chassis, the first PXI chassis to combine the 3U and 6U PXI form factors. In 2007, Geotest introduce the smart chassis product line which provided for temperature, airflow, and power monitoring of PXI chassis. In 2011 Geotest introduced a PXI Semiconductor Test System For Digital And Mixed Signal Test Applications. On June 11, 2013, Geotest - Marvin Test Systems, announced it has changed its name to Marvin Test Solutions.
