Gaurie Dwivedi is an Indian journalist, Foreign Affairs Expert and a television news anchor. She worked as the Associate Executive Editor of NewsX and has previously worked for media publications like Economic Times, ET Now. She currently writes regularly for The Pioneer and Times of India. Gaurie regularly writes on China and has authored a book on global perspective of China, Blinkers Off: How Will the World Counter China. She is also a visiting Fellow at United Service Institutions of India Early life Dwivedi was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and grew up in Delhi. After finishing her schooling from Delhi Public School, RK Puram, She studied at Lady Sriram College, New Delhi and went on to finish her Masters in Economics from prestigeous Delhi School of Economics. Career Career beginnings Gaurie started her journalism career with Economic Times NewsX and "Beyond The Obvious" Gaurie had a long stint as host of NewsX show Beyond The Obviouswhere she spoke generally on issue of the day and interviewed many famous personalities for the show. Book Gaurie authored Blinkers Off: How Will the World Counter China on the growing threat of China and how the world is realigning to counter this threat. The book is published by Pentagon Press.
