Anthony Peridis

Anthony Peridis (born 14 June 1979) was an Australian television presenter, formerly with the Sydney Weekender program on the Seven Network in New South Wales and formerly with SBS.
Media career
A career in sports journalism became obvious when still at school at The Scots College in Sydney. As a teenager his ambition was to be like Tim Webster, a prominent Australian sports journalist. Anthony completed a Diploma in Journalism at the Macleay College in 1998.
Despite being born and raised in Sydney, his break came in the form of a two hour sport show in Brisbane in 1999.
He was sports producer for Sunrise on Channel Seven.
He then joined the SBS sport team. He reported on SBS's coverage of the FIFA Women's World Cup from China in September 2007.
In 2008 he returned to Seven from SBS to present Sydney Weekender.
He is a member of the Cronulla Seagulls Football Club and the North Cronulla Surf Lifesaving Club.
