Garry Willmington

Garry Willmington (born 1 September 1952) is a former driver in the Australian Touring Car Challenge who raced between 1978 and 2000.
Willmington opened the Marulan Driver Training Centre in 2009, a track that offers driver's education and hosts motorsport events. He is also credited with the creation of a new category that created a pathway for older models of touring cars to continue to compete.
Career
Touring cars
Willmington was a privateer racing driver for Australian Touring Cars (now known as the Supercars Championship). During his career, he competed in several Bathurst 1000<nowiki/>s. He achieved a class win during the 1987 race, driving a Toyota Sprinter AE86.
Sydney Speedway
In 2024, Willmington was appointed as the track manager of the Sydney Speedway.
Personal life
Willmington has a son, Braydan, who is also a racing driver.
