Saints Peter and Paul Church (Chernivtsi)

Saints Peter and Paul Church is a historic Ukrainian Greek Catholic church located in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Built between 1864 and 1884, it is an outstanding example of neo-Gothic architecture and serves as a religious and cultural landmark in the city.
History
Construction began in 1864, and the church was consecrated in 1884. It was designed by architect Joseph Hlavka and has been a center for the Ukrainian Greek Catholic community in Chernivtsi.
Architecture
The church features twin spires, pointed arches, and intricate stained glass windows typical of the neo-Gothic style. Its interior includes ornate wood carvings and religious iconography.
Cultural significance
It has been designated as a monument of national significance by the Ukrainian government since 1989.
