Garous Abdolmalekian

Garous Abdolmalekian (born 1980) is an Iranian poet.
He was born in Tehran, Iran. His father Mohammad Reza Abdolmalekin is also a poet. After high school Grous studied Industrial Engineering.
He started writing poetry at the age of 11. Since then he has published five books and have collaborated in two volumes of selected poetry and photography.
His poems have been translated into Arabic, French, German, Kurdish, Spanish, Russian, and Swedish. He is presently the editor of the poetry section at Cheshmeh Publications in Tehran and teaches poetry at a number of cultural institutes in Iran.
He lives in Tehran with his wife Shila Habibian and their daughter Rira.
