Gabrielle Ann Aplin (born October 10, 1992) is an English internet singer and songwriter who went to Sheldon School, Chippenham. She is the daughter of Lisa and Christian Aplin and she was born in Bath (in the UK). She is inspired by Bob Dylan/Bruce Springsteen (song wise) and Joni Mitchell voice/melody-wise. Aplin has done an acoustic EP which is on iTunes and her new EP will be released on May 9, 2011. She has done many gigs so far and will start touring again on May 9, 2011. Aplin had achieved: iTunes chart success with Acoustic EP - Top 25 Main Chart / Top 15 Pop chart, 3million+ plays on YouTube, 1.2million+ plays on Myspace, 16th most subscribed YouTube channel, 10,000 plays per day on YouTube 1million+ plays of her rendition of Liar and the Lighter, No.1 MySpace unsigned act, and over 20,000 subscribers on YouTube.
