Gabi Hernandez

Gabi Hernandez is a character on the American soap opera Days of our Lives, portrayed by Gabriela Rodriguez. She is the only actress to have played this role.
Arrival
Gabi Hernandez is the younger sister of two Salemites Arianna, and Rafe Hernandez. She first appeared in Salem on November 20, 2009. In her third episode she discovered drugs in Arianna's room, and accused her of selling & doing them again. Arianna was eventually forced to tell her that she was working undercover for the police. Gabi also helped another local Salemite Nicole Walker escape from Salem. Nicole came up with a cover story. She told Gabi her husband was beating her, and she had to leave town. Gabi gave her money, but soon learned it was a big mistake. Sami saw the braclet Nicole had given her in return for the money, and noticed it was Nicole's. Nicole had stolen her and E.J's baby. Gabi felt terrible, and eventually helped put up posters with Nicole & Sydney's pictures on them. She also had a bad start with Will Horton, (he knew she had given Nicole the money, to kidnap his sister). Although she didn't do it knowingly.
Permanent Stay
Gabi has been in Salem since November. She was originally supposed to go home at the end of Thanksgiving. However, we have seen that she is still in Salem. She told Chad Peterson-Woods, that she was possibly thinking of transferring to Salem-High, to start life on her own. She will fit in with the Mia/Will/Chad group. She went to the winter dance, with Chad after Mia decided she was going to go with Will Horton. They danced alone in the courtyard together. On Monday December 28, Gabi will officially announce that she is staying in Salem for good.
