The Fun Moods virus is adware and spyware published by an independent company. It is a complete browser hijacker that is capable of making unauthorized changes to internet browser settings and browser helped objects, such as the homepage (startup page), browser add-ons and extensions, and managed search engines. This can cause internet searches and inputted URLs to redirect to Fun Mood’s search engine Start.Funmoods.com or other third party websites. Fun Moods is often referred to as a “redirection” virus because of this, but is not a true redirection virus since it does not take an inputed url and redirect the aformentioned virus to another location. Funmoods Installation Data Funmoods virus is found by either directly downloading the software or through download managers that bundle software with the software one intended to download. It takes approxametly 12 min to remove. |
