Frontera United FC is the premier men's Soccer organization in Yuma, Arizona. Joining the United Premier Soccer League in 2016, Frontera United played an exhibition season in 2015 ending with a 6-3-1 record. History The first interaction between Frontera United and Yuma was to cut a check for $15,000 to the City of Yuma Parks and Recreation to transition Desert Sun Stadium into a soccer venue. From there the organization turned to the city and offered a $1,000 college scholarship to the winner of the team naming contest.
