Freddy Retro is a Music Producer, DJ, Songwriter, Remixer, and Record Company Executive from New York City. Several of the singles written and produced by Freddy Retro have charted on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Freddy is affiliated with both Fever Records and Casa Records.
Freddy Retro is also a rising personality in the growing scene of Mixed Martial Arts, having a radio show during which UFC fighters are interviewed about their career highlights. Retro has presented Lifetime Achievement Awards for MMA to veteran fighters such as Shonie Carter, Renzo Gracie among others. Retro, himself, currently holds the rank of Brown Belt in an urban style of the martial art Hapkido and has also begun training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. More recently, Freddy Retro has become a rookie MMA fighter in the Global Fight League and expects his first Mixed Martial Arts fight to occur in August or September of 2011.
