Fred Rockwell (born February 20, 1980), an American investor, is the founder and president of Tarsier Capital Management, a privately owned investment management firm focused on micro cap stocks and quantitative strategies. He started Tarsier Capital Management in 2015 with the goal of connecting everyday investors with the small businesses on Main Street. Before founding Tarsier Capital Management, Rockwell served as a senior analysts at Catalyst Mutual Funds.
Rockwell graduated from the University of Delaware, in 2003 with majors in accounting and finance. He graduated from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business MBA program, in 2012 with a focus in Strategy. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, and Professional Risk Manager.
