Frank G. Bussing

Frank G. Bussing was an American politician who served as the eighth mayor of Compton, California, from 1953 to 1957 as a member of the Republican Party.
Career
Bussing, a Republican, served as the eighth mayor of Compton, California, from 1953 to 1957. He was preceded in office by Harry T. Laugharn and succeeded by Del M. Clawson.
Bussing was an unsuccessful candidate for election to the United States House of Representatives in 1954, running to represent California's 23rd congressional district. He was defeated in a landslide by Democratic incumbent Clyde Doyle.
